Organic Cotton sheets $22– Love this brands feel. Get at least 3-5 sets of sheets. They don’t recommend blankets till 1+. No pillows. No bumpers. We did get a crib skirt Crib bedskirt $17
We used a desk (from thrift store) and attached a changing pad (that had sides) to the top. We have a china cabinet (thrifted as well) as a bookshelf/dresser.
We hang all the clothing because different brands are very different lengths so this made it easy to find what would fit while in onesies.
Get a rocking chair or glider. We had bad luck with ones online and went to a local furniture store to try them out.
Baby monitors

Owlet with camera Owlet sock and camera $303– We actually used the sock while driving long distance too. It works without wifi as long as you can plug in base station.

Baby Proof
Secure all furniture with safety straps!! Look into your cabinets to know what type of baby locks you can use. We had to use 2 types. Don’t forget bathroom cabinets!
I didn’t do the magnet type because I was afraid of loosing the “key” magnet.
We don’t use the covers for the oven and instead took off the knobs and put them on while cooking. Much cheaper and easier
Get lots of outlet covers (flat type) and door bumpers door stop/bumper $6
Outlet Cover $5 – for living spaces/ nursery where things are plugged in. Use cord covers too to protect them. Cord Covers $26
Baby gates are a must this retractable style is great and works with a variety of locations/angles Momcozy baby gate $50
Do not use the baby gate that is a plastic type that is fully removable at the top of stairs!!

Setting up the house
- Pack n play in living area- doubles as changing table for the first few months. You do NOT need all the random attachments.Graco $119 – I like the ones that have elevated changing station great for after delivery or C section. We had a bassinet come with our stroller so we didn’t need that attachment.
- Activity center in nursery/play in nursery
- 2 diaper genies!! One in the nursery and one in living space. We also use dog poop bags when out for dirty diapers (cheaper than the ones for baby diapers and no smell) Diaper Genie Signature $72 great size and hard for little ones to open.

cool steam, great for when they are sick!
CAR SET UP
Graco 4ever delux $309 smooth to tighten and easy to install and adjust. we have 3 my parents and sister all love this one.
Seat cover for the car $28 for a 2 pack great to protect from dirty shoes when rear facing
