Get Pull ups that have velcro on the side so you don’t have to take their pants off. We tried a few brands and Huggies were the favorite.
Pull ups she sleeps in them too. We don’t use a different or overnight. We did regular diapers overnight initially.
My daughter was wearing a 2T in clothing but the 3-4T pull up fits! I didn’t find them in smaller sizes anyway.

We started with mini toilets so they were less intimidating and let her ask to use the big ones
Training Potty – We use as a step stool too to reach the sink for washing hands.
